Horacio has an interest in researching new pedagogic materials for the instrument. He is the author of the cello adaptation of the famous Exercises in Various Combinations of Double-Stops by Dr. Roland Vamos, recently published by Carl Fischer.
He has also shown interest in research in addition to his activities as a cellist and cello teacher. As a result, he has been invited to present papers and lectures at Latin American universities and conservatories, El Sistema teaching education programs and anthropology conferences. His works have obtained honorific mentions and have been published in scholarly journals.
